FAQ

Here you can find PINGPONG's answers to the frequently asked question on the Multi-Mining App.

What is the Multi-Mining App(PINGPONG App)?

By simply downloading and running the Multi-Mining App(PINGPONG App) on your laptops, you can mine multiple(10+) DePIN networks at the same time for earning aggregated mining yield. On the product website, you can check the status and mining yields of your devices through the dashboard.

What should I do if I see the error message “Docker is not installed”?

Please install Docker Desktop following our guide depending on your operating system:

Install and Run Docker

What should I do if I see the error message “Docker Daemon is not running”?

Please make sure:

  1. Your Docker Desktop is running.

  2. You have updated your Docker Desktop to the latest version by following https://www.docker.com/products/docker-desktop/.

Why is my device shown as “Stopped” on the "Device" dashboard while the PINGPONG App shows that it’s “Running”?

If you have just started the PINGPONG App, it takes a while for the "Devices" dashboard to sync your device status. Please patiently wait for 3 minutes. If the issue remains, please open a support ticket in our Discord community for further support.

Can I run multiple nodes on the same device for more mining yields and PINGPONG rewards?

We suggest that you only run one PINGPONG App per device. Most DePIN networks have anti-Sybil attack mechanisms and deem running multiple instances on the same machine a form of Sybil attack, and by running multiple instances on the same machine, you are at risk of losing ALL DePIN mining rewards.

Running the PINGPONG App on Linux/VPS

How can I update the PINGPONG App on Linux/VPS?

Please follow these steps:

  1. Remove the old PINGPONG by using rm PINGPON

  2. Download the latest one using the command: wget https://pingpong-build.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/linux/latest/PINGPONG

  3. Run the new PINGPONG App

How can I shut down the PINGPONG App on Linux?

Please follow these steps:

  1. Run ps -ef | grep PINGPONG and copy-paste the returned PID.

  2. Run kill -15 $PID (replace $PID with your actual PID).

  3. Run ps -ef | grep PINGPONG to confirm that the PINGPONG process no longer exists.

Regarding the Status of Each DePIN Network

What should I do if AIOZ is grayed out/red on my “Devices” dashboard?

Please follow these steps:

  1. Check the container status by running docker ps | grep pp-aioz in your terminal.

  2. If the container status is “running”, click on "Stop" in the PINGPONG App, wait for a while, and then click on "Start" to reset the service's operational state.

  3. Otherwise, restart both the PINGPONG app and the Docker Desktop.

What should I do if Titan is grayed out/red on my “Devices” dashboard?

Please follow these steps:

  1. Check if you have more than 5 devices joining Titan Network with the same IP address. This is not allowed by Titan Network.

  2. If you haven’t reached this limit, click on "Stop" in the PINGPONG App, wait for a while, and then click on "Start" to re-establish the connection to Titan Network.

  3. Otherwise, restart both the PINGPONG App and the Docker Desktop.

Why is Raptoreum grayed out on my “Devices” dashboard?

  1. If the Raptoreum status remains grayed out for 3 hours after starting the PINGPONG App, your CPU may not be compatible with Raptoreum, or your network may be unstable.

  2. Please click the "Check Log" button in the PINGPONG App and save a screenshot of the log information.

  3. Then open a support ticket in our Discord community and provide the logs so we can help identify and resolve the issue.

Can I use the same private key for 0G and AIOZ on different devices?

Yes, you can use the same private key for 0G and AIOZ on different devices.

Mining Yield & PINGPONG Points

What is the minimum claim quantity for Titan, AIOZ, Raptoreum, and Golem? And when can they be claimed?

  1. You can now log in to the claim page to see the decentralized networks you can claim.

  2. Some networks require additional steps to complete the claim. Please check the tutorial here.

Why is there a significant difference in PPP acquisition for the same device and uptime?

  1. Our system allocates PPP based on the tasks your devices complete on DePIN networks.

  2. These tasks vary in complexity and frequency, due to factors such as network demand and the availability of tasks.

  3. This leads to fluctuations in the points you earn, even for the same device and uptime.

Regarding the Yield of Each DePIN Network

Why is there no yield from Grass, even if it’s running?

If you don’t gain Grass points on VPS, this is due to Grass’s official rule of only giving points to nodes running on residential IP addresses.

  1. Data center proxy IPs are flagged as suspicious and can't get earnings. Residential proxy IPs operate normally.

  2. Ask your VPS provider to switch to a residential proxy.

Why is there no yield from Golem, even if it’s running?

Golem's yield generation requires KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine). Devices lacking KVM capabilities may show Golem as "running" but will not generate any yield.

Why is there no yield from Raptoreum, even if it’s running?

Raptoreum distributes mining rewards once you’ve accumulated at least 10 RTM. If your rewards haven't reached this threshold, they won't be distributed yet.

Why is there no yield from Filecoin Station, even if it’s running?

Filecoin Station distributes mining rewards once you’ve accumulated at least 0.1 FIL. If your rewards haven't reached this threshold, they won't be distributed yet.

Security & Privacy & Transparency of Mining

How does the PINGPONG App ensure security?

  1. The PINGPONG App runs all operations within secure Docker environments. This confines all activities to isolated and controlled containers, with no access to your systems or data. We also don’t ask to gain permissions for your devices (if we do, your OS would’ve prompted you for that).

  2. At the same time, we continuously update and audit our systems to address new vulnerabilities and minimize risks such as external attacks or data breaches, ensuring the security of your system and mining operations.

How does the PINGPONG App protect my privacy?

  1. The PINGPONG App adheres to the privacy settings of your operating system.

  2. We have also strengthened our data handling protocols to ensure that all user information is encrypted and securely managed.

How does the PINGPONG App ensure transparency of the presented mining yield?

  1. The data you see on the dashboard is directly reported from the DePIN networks.

  2. We have also implemented additional measures to verify the authenticity of mining data. This includes enhanced validations to detect and prevent any spoofing or falsification of mining activities, ensuring that the yields you see are accurate.
